15 Sept 2021: An awareness programme on Stress and Depression Management and Suicide prevention was organised by Women and Child Development Department and Child Protection Unit of ICDS- Punalur for the adolescents of Government Higher Secondary School of Punalur, Kollam Dist, Kerala. Almost 20 students got benefitted by this awareness session. The session was conducted by Kerala Representative of NSPF, Ms Sija Vasudevan Nair, Counselling Psychologist.

13th Sep 2021: A webinar on Depression management and Suicide Prevention was conducted by Mrs Sija Vasudevan Nair, (Counselling Psychologist, LSDMA, Kerala Representative of NSPF) for the adolescents. This webinar was organised by ICDS Mukhathala, Kollam Dist , Kerala. Almost 90 teenagers got benefitted from the session.
11th Sept 2021:An awareness programme on Depression and Suicide Prevention was conducted by Mrs Sija Vasudevan Nair, Counseling Psychologist for women and children of Pavithreswaram GramaPanchayat, Kollam Dist , KERALA . The webinar was organised by the Gender Resource Centre of ICDS. 100 participants got benefitted by the programme.

10 Sep 2021 : On the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day 2021, Om Foundation, Kutch Suicide Prevention Forum and National Suicide Prevention Forum in joint venture with White Eagle Cycle Group have made Suicide Prevention Campaign through Cycling which has been included tiday in the Cycling Around The World mission for Suicide Prevention organized by International Association for Suicide Prevention by Lauren Betts.
10 Sep 2021 :An awareness program was held jointly organised by National Suicide Prevention Forum and Samarpan Meditation- Gandhidham on the occasion of international suicide prevention day, 10th September 2021. Chief guests included the speaker Dr. Dhaivat Mehta (West India zonal rep, NSPF / President, IMA Gandhidham), Mr. Solanki sir ,(PI, LCB, SP office, East Kutch), Mrs. Divya ba Jadeja (BJP Mahila Morcha adhyaksh) The session started by the expert lecture on the topic by Dr. Dhaivat Mehta. The session highlighted the demographics of suicide, it's taboo, the reasons behind it and the early warning signs of depression. Meditation and preventive mental health was highlighted during the later part of the lecture. The lecture was followed by question answer session. Anchoring and hosting was done by Dr. Munira Mehta Thanks giving speech was given by Mrs. Vandna ben Patel (Acharyaa, Samarpan Meditation-Gandhidham) Approximately 50 persons attended the program.

8th Sept 2021 :An awareness programme was conducted by Mrs Sija Vasudevan Nair, Counseling Psychologist, Kerala Representative of NSPF ; as a Capability Building Workshop for young leaders of Life Skills Youth For Integration Team of Life Skills BVET centre , Chathannoor, Kollam Dist, KERALA. The participants included a wide spectrum ranging from adolescents to octogenarians.The enthusiastic youth of YFI organised a unique opening for the event by lighting candles by each participants resonating with the theme selected for the evening.The workshop was followed by an interactive session where the participants clarified their doubts and queries. The event was streamed live on Facebook as well.

The event benefitted 80 participants. This event was conducted by Mrs Sija Vasudevan Nair, Counseling Psychologist, Kerala Representative of NSPF.

02 Sep 2021 :An awareness webinar on Life skills dynamic meditation for stress management and prevention of depression and suicide was conducted by Mrs Sija Vasudevan Nair for the adolescents of Girls’ High School, Keralapuram, Kollam Dist, Kerala with the support of school counselors working under the psycho social scheme of Mukhathala Additional ICDS on 2 nd Sept 2021. There were maximum of 55 participants. The resource person could successfully make the children aware of the issues like depression and stress , also enabled them to revognize the warming signs and how to prevent suicidal ideation and attempts.

Press Conference regarding urgent development of the National Suicide Prevention Strategy in India has been organized by the Om Foundation and Kutch Suicide Prevention Forum. Our appeal to the Honourable President & Prime Minister of India has been replied positively from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. We are going to submit letter of support to the Honourable Health Minister of India for urgent implementation of National Suicide Prevention Strategy in our country.

Life Skills Dynamic Meditation Gatekeeper Virtual Training for Suicide Prevention has been provided to the Assam Army families in the military cantt, Dinjan , Tinsukia District with the joint venture of Family Welfare Organisation and Om Foundation.
